Have you ever created a mind map??? I got the bright idea to update my vision before leaving the house the other night. 💃🏽 Flushing out the many possibilities is a regular reflection item for me.

When you develop your vision and begin to execute it, your goals won’t change but the path you take certainly can. So it’s definitely okay to change your route. As you find out about new opportunities, add them to your mind map and envision taking the next step to make it happen.

Developing a mind map is one of several ways to brainstorm your life vision. Let the power of visualization work for you. Vision board, manifestation box, three-year plan…they ALL work!

Here’s how to do it:

1️⃣ START WITH A BIG IDEA: Think “where do I want to be in five or 10 years?” Don’t be scared. Think Big!!! This is your main idea. The next steps will encompass your main idea. Now, CIRCLE IT.

2️⃣ ADD BRANCHES: Start writing four separate ideas/keywords around the biggest idea. Maybe you’ll write a job description or maybe you’ll think of a city, and then the local cuisine, etc., etc.…

3️⃣ EXPLORE: Continue adding branches and writing keywords as they come to mind. Keep adding ideas until you can’t think of any more. (You could write skills that you want to obtain or competitions in which you want to participate.)

4️⃣ DESIGN IT: Add colors, images, or you can just write it using colored pencils. Spice it up! Bring it to life!

Keep your mind map where it can be easily viewed and updated as you get new ideas.
